In India, every year on 5th September teachers day is celebrated. This day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He has been a teacher, philosopher, author and politician.
I am a Chartered Accountant. With much pride, I wish all my hard-working teachers a very HAPPY TEACHERS DAYS. They are the ones who taught me the meaning of life, values and morals. Their learning has made me the person what I am today professionally and personally. I am grateful to them and will always be.
It is rightly said by our elders that one thing that nobody can take away from you is your education. I am a firm believer in the said words. The power of education is that it takes us away from the dilemma to a path of light and happiness. The teachers are the preachers of education. They are building the bright future of our nation.
If parents give us life, teachers teach us how to harness the life to the fullest. At home, the well-wisher of every child is a mother. And outside the world, a teacher is the one who is standing always by the side of their students. Even in the current pandemic situation, the teachers are holding the hands of their students firm and strong. We respect the pain and efforts that our teachers are putting in present not so normal days for our children.
Teachers day is dedicated to all teachers and gurus. Teachers are the pillars of our life. They teach us confidence, dedication, discipline and honesty. But the sad part of today’s world is that the students are failing in respecting their teachers. Every parent must teach their child the importance of teacher and their learnings in their life.
I would like to end with a few words from my science teacher. Her words are even today sounds loud and clear in my mind.
“BE HONEST TO YOURSELF”
Love your teachers. Show your sincerity and gratitude by wishing them Happy Teachers Day.
